PLEIN AIR WORKSHOPS
Get Ready to Paint Plein Air!
If you have never painted outdoors from life and would like to learn the ins and outs, Bartow Art Guild is offering you an opportunity to learn new skills and prepare you to participate in the Paint Out!
Workshop covers: creating a concise and strong visual statement, getting values right, simplifying the composition, how far to take the painting, how to make the shapes interesting, and the development of good paint application and brush handling skills. Good color use with subtle nuances put the icing on the cake…er, picture. Just come on and paint, the more you learn and know the more fun it is!
